15 month check-up

The peanut is still a peanut, but for the first time in quite awhile, she’s back in the double digits on the growth curve (10 percent) for weight.

Height: 28.5 inches
Weight: 20 pounds
Head: 45.5 centimeters

All is well with the developmental milestones for this age — things like walking, copying behavior, words and scribbling with a crayon.  No more shots for three months!

Father’s Day 2011

For Father’s Day, E got her first ride on the train and carousel at Wheaton Regional Park.

Interesting. A little scary and noisy.

Too fast. Not a huge fan.

Riding this way is a little better.

Baby brunches

As I’ve said before, baby brunches are most definitely the new Going Out. Last weekend, we had another fantastic brunch with some of our favorites: Baby S and Baby A. Also, balls are fun. Just make sure there are enough per (mobile) baby. Baby A waited a LONG time for the last shot. (See all June photos here.)

First trip to the zoo

We picked one of the hottest days of the year so far for E’s first trip to the Washington National Zoo on Memorial Day. She saw alpacas and cows at the Kids’ Farm and some of the Very Big Cats. Her new phrase as we left: “Moooooooooooooooo.”
