2011 in review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,600 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 27 trips to carry that many people.

Let’s get it started

in here …

E & cousin C had quite the dance party tonight. That’s what we call awesome-sauce.

Off to Wisconsin

For Christmas 2011.

Decked out in her Packers’ finest. (Christmas night game score: Packers over Bears 35-21.)

Merry Christmas Eve!

Santa arrived while E was being driven around for a nap (a result of no-nap Saturday!).

Telling Grandma Mary about Christmas.

Boooooooooks. Thanks, Uncle Anders.

Open, open! Thanks, Grandpa S.

Read, read, read. Thanks E, A & Z!

I love my owl! Thanks, Grandma M.

Santa swung by, too. Merry Christmas!

21 months

To the day, is how long we made it without a trip back to Holy Cross Hospital. But E woke up not feeling well, and her fever went higher and she stopped wanting to do anything, including drink any liquids, so we took her in for a check. She might have croup. Today her fever was mostly better, but she is still wheezing and generally feeling lousy. Here Daddy is singing “Desperado” to her while we waited for the doctor.

Here’s a (long) thank you for the bear book, Grandma!
